PFAS Emergency Response – Lake Washington

Aztech was contacted to to address PFAS-impacted surface water in the water supply for the City of Newburgh: Lake Washington.

Aztech was retained to design and source the needed parts via their long-standing relationship with multiple vendors throughout the US.

Concurrently, Aztech’s field professionals cleared and prepared the area where the system would be situated and complete all necessary on-site infrastructure installation, including the construction of a road to access the lake.  Within the tight deadline imposed, Aztech completed the construction and installation of their designed system.  The treatment system utilized a series of sand filters and 200,000 pounds of carbon to successfully process 3,000 gallons per minute.
