PFAS Emergency Response – Hoosick Falls

Aztech was contacted to source point of entry (POET) system components, evaluate homes and business, and construct and install the systems in hundreds of locations in the Hoosick Falls region of New York State.

This was in response to the discovery of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in drinking water wells by the NYS Department of Health.

Aztech was able to respond immediately and supply hundreds of thousands of dollars of equipment as well as six (6) two-man installation teams to the project.  Aztech evaluated over 500 homes, sourced and kitted over 500 systems, and installed upwards of 200 systems in houses and businesses over the course of six months.  Additionally, Aztech designed and built the equipment to prepare the treatment media for installation into the vessels.
