As Project Engineer, Geoff is responsible for all field operations and the commissioning of geothermal systems. He interfaces with the customer, subcontractors and Aztech technicians to ensure an efficient and quality installation. He is also involved in the design of the systems by conducting building heat load analysis and sizing equipment. Geoff is an IGSHPA accredited installer, certified in geothermal pipe fusion and working towards his certification as a Building Performance Institute (BPI) Certified Contractor.
Geoff has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy (Annapolis) and over 20 years experience in Maintenance and Operations Management in manufacturing facilities. Prior to joining Aztech Geothermal he ran his own residential geothermal design and installation company and has over 20 installations on his resume.
When not trudging through trenches and basements Geoff runs a Bed and Breakfast with his wife and spends time with his two sons on the ski slopes and lacrosse fields.
